Our client, which is trusted leader in sustainability advisory, are currently recruiting Japanese-speaking Sustainability Analysts at the entry level to join our consulting practice.
This opportunity is well-suited to recent graduates and postgraduates seeking to develop practical expertise and establish a long-term career in ESG and sustainability advisory.
【Responsibilities】
- Support the delivery of sustainability advisory projects, including ESG reporting, climate and carbon management, sustainability ratings, and assurance engagements
- Assist in coordinating projects for clients based in Japan
- Conduct research on evolving sustainability standards, regulatory developments, and industry best practices
- Gather, review, and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data for client reporting and assessment purposes
- Prepare draft sections of ESG reports, presentation materials, and other client-facing documents
- Contribute to project administration, including quality control processes and timeline tracking
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple assignments and international locations
【Requirements & Preferences】
(Must Have)
- Diploma or higher in any discipline
- Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent, with strong written and spoken ability) and working proficiency in English, to support communication with Japanese and global stakeholders
- Candidates without prior working experience are welcome to apply
- Demonstrated interest in sustainability, climate change, or corporate responsibility topics
(Advantageous)
- Internship or working experience in a consulting environment
- Familiarity with digital tools understanding of responsible AI usage is beneficial programming skills are an added advantage
- Willing to collaborate with clients and colleagues across different time zones, when required
- Academic or internship experience related to sustainability is beneficial
