SALT is looking to hire a Support Specialist (Korean speaking) in Singapore for a global technology client for12 months renewable contract. This is a critical role with Korean privacy regulations by providing accessible, human support inquiry channels for users.
What you'll do:
- Receive and respond to inbound telephone calls from users in South Korea regarding privacy related matters.
- Manage incoming emails and physical mails.
- Accurately capture user inquiry details including contact information, nature of compliant and relevant account identifiers.
- Access and categorize incoming inquires based on established criteria (privacy request, account issues, data subject rights)
- Route non-privacy related inquiries to appropriate teams (Integrity, Support, Legal) via established escalation pathways.
What you'll need:
- 1-3 years of experience in customer support, privacy operations, compliance or related administrative roles
- Due to the nature of the business, proficiency in Korean is preferred.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Experience in privacy, data protection or regulatory compliance roles.
- Approximately 150-200 telephone inquiries per month
