Supply Operator, Singapore

Are you ready to take on a role with extensive potential for development As our new Supply Operator, you will join a team of professional Purchasers and Operators, who share trade insights and an interest in trading and supply.

Based at our office in Singapore, you will support the foundation within a fully integrated purchasing team across Malaysia and Thailand. As part of the Bunker Holding Group, you will support our group, suppliers, and customers in a fast-paced shipping industry - while contributing to a greener future.

Supporting the Purchasers, you will ensure timely operations and supply updates and maintain clear vendor communication.

The role and responsibilities

From day one, you will take ownership of updating stakeholders on pre- and post-bunker fixture details and coordinating daily bunker operations to ensure smooth delivery. You will plan the day-to-day supply operation which includes handling of delivery schedules, coordination, etc.

Additionally, you will be responsible for:

• Prepare daily and monthly reporting on market movements and performance
• Support traders with settlement of bunker claims and disputes
• Maintain the supply portfolio and coordinate deliveries with agents, suppliers, and vendors
• Review and align regional post-fixing procedures and communicate updates to internal stakeholders
• Cover similar operational tasks for Singapore and support commercial sourcing activities as needed.

Team player with great planning and stakeholder management skills

We are looking for a structured and detail-oriented collaborator with effective planning and stakeholder management skills. You thrive in a busy environment, communicate clearly, and take responsibility for your tasks.

In addition, we expect you to:

• Have experience in bunker logistics (or similar operational shipping/logistics experience) and possess a solid understanding of oil products (beneficial)
• Have solid organisational skills, including effective time management and prioritisation
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally with internal and external parties
• Be comfortable working independently and maintaining productivity during peak periods
• Be proficient with Microsoft Excel and other productivity tools
• Be able and willing to monitor across weekends and at odd hours due to the operational nature of the role
