Job Summary
You will assist in negotiation and procurement of raw materials, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining strong supplier partnerships. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with organizational goals and respond proactively to market trends.
Responsibilities
- Manage procurement processes including issuing and tracking Purchase Orders to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers to support supply chain reliability
- Monitor market trends and analyze supply and demand data to anticipate risks and opportunities in raw material sourcing
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with business objectives and operational needs
- Communicate procurement plans and updates clearly to internal stakeholders to support decision-making and operational efficiency
- Work independently to manage procurement tasks while contributing as a proactive team member in achieving organizational goals
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Strong business acumen to evaluate supplier proposals and market conditions
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
