You will be the lead in sustainability, focusing on environmental, social, governance aspects of our company, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure understanding & compliance in this area. You will also work on sustainability initiatives to support the company's longer-term sustainability roadmap and will play a key role in the establishment of documentation and developing a standards framework.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage all components of a sustainable supply chain (Green supply chain, transparent supply chain, circular supply chain)
- Manage regional environment management system to ensure compliance and safety
- Is aware of and enforce accepted social and environmental practices and regulations
- Assist with DTC's long-term sustainability goals.
- Work with other offices to manage first and second tier suppliers to include them in the overall sustainability strategy.
- Set, monitor or delegate social and environmental targets for the first-tier suppliers regarding their own suppliers
- Focus on the three Ps of sustainability (profit), focusing on such issues as cost, quality, delivery, and technology, and the second and third Ps (people and the planet)
- Embed environmental and social .responsibility throughout our supply .chain
- Build structural agility into supply chain and ensure operational reactivity
- Manage projects eg. reduction of packaging in supply chain, end-consumer recycling, circular economy models, reduction emissions in supply chain and ensure they are synergistic
- Review digital transformation in supply chains so that steps can be taken to gradually digitize supply chain operations
- Ensure sustainability benchmarks, targets, and guidelines are clearly defined and understood by all stakeholders and suppliers across the supply chain
Job Requirements :
- Min bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, or similar education background relevant to Sustainability or Environmental Science and/or possess min 3 years experience in working in the field of sustainability.
- Good knowledge of sustainability concept & principles
- Familiarity with Environmental Management System (ISO 14001), Sustainable Procurement (ISO 20400), SMETA and Ecovadis would be advantageous.
- Exceptional analytical skills and experience in using data visualization tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, such as MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Word.
- Good communicator with ability to influence multiple cross-functional stakeholders and able to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment.

- Travelling is required for this position to align our offices in Malaysia/Vietnam/China
