Job Summary

My client seeks a systems-thinking operator to lead global fulfillment and supply chain operations, managing product journeys from raw material negotiation to final delivery with a focus on logistics, trade compliance, and AI-driven automation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end fulfillment and logistics by serving as the primary contact for customer orders and global logistics partners, managing last-mile delivery and resolving international transit issues in real time
  • Collaborate with Sales and Manufacturing to plan and execute shipping schedules, prioritizing orders to meet company revenue targets
  • Execute hands-on packing and pallet preparation to meet quality and safety standards
  • Lead strategic procurement by negotiating pricing and quotes with global suppliers and managing the RFQ process to optimize costs and lead times
  • Manage supplier relationships using Mandarin Chinese proficiency to ensure clear negotiation of technical requirements and commercial terms, supporting effective regional communication
  • Partner with Manufacturing to place raw material and consumable orders, preventing production delays due to supply shortages
  • Administer MRPEasy by configuring the system, maintaining data integrity, and driving process improvements
  • Deploy AI tools and automation workflows to integrate MRP with other systems, extracting insights and automating repetitive data-entry and reporting tasks
  • Maintain data accuracy by ensuring the digital representation of the factory matches physical operations through rigorous systems management
  • Apply numeracy and finance skills to track inventory movements accurately, linking MRP transactions to financial statements including COGS, inventory valuation, and accruals
  • Manage Singapore Customs activities, including Manufacturers Cost Statements and AIFTA/FTA documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Facilitate collection and verification of End-User Declarations (EUDs) to prevent product diversion to sanctioned entities or prohibited uses, maintaining global legal compliance

Required competencies and certifications

  • Experience with Singapore Customs Manufacturers Cost Statements and strategic goods control is mandatory.
  • Mandarin speaking to manage relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers.
