Internship Program Overview:

Summary of Role:

As a Supply Chain Materials Management Intern, you will work alongside experienced supply chain professionals to optimize inventory, monitor material demand, and support supply risk mitigation for semiconductor manufacturing operations. This role provides exposure to real-time supply chain decision-making, stakeholder collaboration, and data-driven problem solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Responsibilities include:

  • Support inventory planning and material availability tracking to help ensure uninterrupted supply for manufacturing requirements.

  • Analyze forecast versus actual material consumption and assist in identifying root causes for shortage, excess, or supply variance issues.

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Central Planning, Buyer Work Center, Sourcing & Procurement, and other stakeholders to support resolution of supply concerns.

  • Assist in preparing supply reports, exception monitoring updates, and risk assessment materials to support supply continuity and inventory optimization initiatives.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education - Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Analytics, Logistics, Engineering or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.

  • Must be in good academic standing.

  • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior related internship or co-op experience

  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.

  • Project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter the ability to navigate ambiguity.

  • Strong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support effective decision-making.

  • Familiarity with supply chain concepts such as inventory management, demand planning, material requirements planning (MRP), or logistics operations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
