Responsibilities:
1. Inventory management
- Responsible for the long-term forecasting
- Confirmation of purchase orders for all raw materials and equipment
- Establish sound inventory management standards to optimize functional costs across Operations, Logistics and Procurement
- Collaborate with third-party logistics partners for warehousing, fulfilment, storage cost and reverse logistics
2. Compliance
- Ensure overall quality meets regulatory& compliances
3. Freight forwarding
- Freight Forwarder Management
- Coordinate with freight forwarders for inbound, import, and export operations
- Negotiate shipping schedules and freight rates to ensure cost effective transportation of goods
4. Procurement
- In-charge of localizing core and non-core goods (subject to review by Headquarters)
- Perform direct procurement activities
- Perform supplier performance management
- Perform supplier relationship management
- COGS cost control
- Coordinate communication related to Product Quality Non-Conformance (PQNC)
- Invoice Verification and System Entry and Accuracy
- Payment reconciliation
5. Coordination and Communication
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align inventory levels with business needs.
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and goods.
- Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage, handling, and distribution of inventory items
6. System and Process Optimization:
- Utilize inventory management software to track and manage stock levels efficiently.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance inventory management.
- Continuously optimize warehouse and logistics operations processes to improve overall operational efficiency and reduce operational costs.
7. Risk Management
- Monitor inventory for any potential risks, such as expiration dates, damages, or obsolescence.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks and reduce inventory holding costs.
8. New Product launch
- Coordinating with China Headquarters assisting in the launch of new products.
- Perform new product survey related project.
9. Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in supply chain management are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in logistics and supply chain management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
