Job Summary
The Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of supply and demand planners to ensure effective execution of integrated business planning (IBP), inventory optimization, and supply chain performance. This role ensures alignment between sales, product, logistics, and supply chain functions to achieve business goals in inventory, revenue, and service levels.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of supply chain / demand planners
- Assign work, monitor performance, and ensure delivery of team objectives
- Own talent development, engagement, and performance management processes
- Collaborate with HR and management on hiring, performance, and career development decisions
Integrated Business Planning (IBP) & Forecasting
- Lead and drive Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and demand/sense demand processes
- Align planning outputs with Sales, Product Marketing, and Logistics teams
- Develop and execute plans to meet targets for inventory, labor, space, and product availability
- Support divisional revenue and profitability objectives through effective planning
Inventory & Supply Chain Management
- Own inventory planning processes and ensure optimization of inventory levels and days of supply
- Monitor and minimize inventory risk, including depreciation and excess exposure
- Ensure proper management of supply chain assets and inventory health
- Support procurement and supply alignment activities with stakeholders
Stakeholder Management & Escalation Handling
- Manage and resolve inventory and supply chain escalations across functions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Drive high levels of customer and vendor satisfaction in supply and inventory performance
Commercial & Operational Support
- Support and lead supply chain-related negotiations to meet business and financial objectives
- Contribute to pricing, rebate, and commercial supply chain opportunities
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency and effectiveness
Continuous Improvement
- Lead or participate in cross-functional supply chain improvement projects
- Identify opportunities to optimize processes, systems, and planning accuracy
- Support implementation of best practices in IBP and supply chain planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory or people management role
- Experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, or inventory management preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of supply chain planning, forecasting, and IBP processes
- Ability to manage inventory risk and supply-demand balance
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrix organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and planning tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in electronics / PCBA / high-tech manufacturing environment
- SAP IBP or other advanced planning system experience is a plus
- Experience working with global or regional supply chain teams
