We are seeking an experienced individual to join us as Supply Chain Management (SCM) Specialist/ Senior Specialist. This role operates within a matrix organization, reporting directly to the Business Management, Head of Division and functionally working closely with other teams across the Headquarter (HQ), customers and logistics partners.

Position Overview:

The SCM Specialist will be responsible for import and trading operations for the Singapore entity, including import customs clearance documentation, shipment and inbound schedule coordination, PO issuance to HQ, and communication with customers and logistics partners.

Hands-on experience in intermediary trade / triangular trade is mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepares and manages documents required for Singapore import customs clearance.
  • Coordinates shipments and inbound schedules with customers, distributors, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouses.
  • Monitors shipment schedules from departure through arrival and inbound delivery.
  • Issue Purchase Orders (POs) to HQ and follow up on production and shipment schedules.
  • Manage trade and shipping documents, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, and Certificates of Origin.
  • Handle operational activities related to intermediary trade / triangular trade and coordinate among HQ, overseas customers, and logistics partners.
  • Monitor order status, shipment progress, and delivery schedules.
  • Resolve SCM operational issues such as shipment delays and customs clearance issues.
  • Maintain SCM and logistics data and prepare relevant reports.
  • Coordinate with internal Sales, Finance, and other relevant teams regarding orders, shipments, and inventory.
  • Support continuous improvement of SCM processes and operational efficiency.

Other Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in SCM, logistics, import/export, or international trading operations.
  • Hands-on experience in intermediary trade / triangular trade.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience in import customs clearance procedures and international shipping documentation.
  • Experience in coordinating with overseas HQ, customers, distributors, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
  • Good understanding of Incoterms, international trade procedures, and shipping processes.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in FMCG, food, consumer goods, or trading companies.
  • Having good and prior experience in the Singapore import customs clearance and logistics operations.
  • Experience in import/export or intermediary trade operations across Southeast Asia.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced regional business environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or in a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and relevant business systems.
