Position: Reporting to Supply Chain Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- BOM Costing Consolidation: Consolidate Bill of Material (BOM) costs within a specific time period.
- Alternate Component Proposals: Propose alternate component manufacturer parts (MPN) on BOM.
- SAP Data Maintenance: Ensure data integrity and accuracy in the SAP system.
- Supplier Coordination: Negotiate, escalate issues, and coordinate with suppliers on cost and lead time.
- Logistics Monitoring: Monitor and coordinate the logistics of components and materials.
- Stock Management: Conduct stocktaking, re-packing, and labeling of received components and materials.
- Quality Liaison: Handle Return Material Authorisation and quality rejects with suppliers.
- Inventory Maintenance: Maintain the office's material holding and inventory storage area.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Manage relationships with suppliers on all commercial issues.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or relevant field.
- Experience: Preferably 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or supply chain within EMS/CM sectors.
- Market Knowledge: Good knowledge of the EMS electronic market and competitors is an added advantage.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with SAP is an added advantage.
