We are looking for a Supply Chain Associate to join our growing team, focusing on inventory management and managing shipments for a B2B beauty products business sourcing internationally. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end logistics of shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery, and maintaining excellent communication with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams. This role is based in Singapore and offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced industry with a global reach.
Key Responsibilities
Shipment & Logistics Management:
Oversee and manage all aspects of inbound/ outbound shipments from international suppliers to our warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping partners to optimize shipping routes, costs, and schedules.
Ensure compliance with import regulations, including customs documentation, tariffs, and shipping requirements for beauty products.
Identify and resolve shipping and logistics-related challenges, such as delays, missing goods, or damaged products.
Assist with insurance claims for cargo loss or damage by gathering necessary documents and information.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of all shipment details, including invoices, shipping confirmations, customs documentation, and tracking information.
Prepare and submit regular reports on shipment status, delivery performance, and logistics costs for internal stakeholders.
Supply Chain Operations, Inventory Management & Team Support:
Handle daily supply chain tasks, including inventory management and coordination with internal departments.
Support the team by covering responsibilities when necessary, ensuring seamless operations during absences or peak periods.
Proactively communicate with internal teams to address any supply chain or inventory disruptions.
Requirements
Diploma in Logistic / Supply Chain or related discipline
Minimum 2 years of experience in freight, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in omnichannel in beauty/ FMCG industry.
Familiarity with Dynamics 365, IWMS, GEEK+ will be an added advantage.
Familiar with MS Office, particularly in MS Excel (pivotable, lookups and formula).
Good Understanding of Singapore's import/export regulations and international shipping protocols. Candidates with inventory management experience will be of added advantage.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues promptly and independently.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle multiple shipments simultaneously while maintaining high accuracy.
Proficient in English and Mandarin (read, speak and type) is required as most stakeholders are Chinese-speaking.
Ability to interact with international suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams.
