The client seeks a Supply Chain Applications Manager cum Operations Assistant Manager to lead digital transformation and operational excellence by managing supply chain systems and supporting daily operations for scalable business performance.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly capable Supply Chain Applications Manager cum Operations Assistant Manager to oversee both the digital backbone of our supply chain and the day‑to‑day operational performance of our business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain all supply chain systems including ERP, WMS, TMS, procurement, and vendor platforms to ensure seamless operation
  • Lead system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and digitalisation projects to enhance supply chain efficiency
  • Translate operational workflows into scalable digital processes to support business growth
  • Maintain data integrity, enforce master data governance, and ensure system compliance across platforms
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to improve supply chain visibility and support data-driven decision-making
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolutions with IT, vendors, and operations teams to minimize downtime
  • Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual tasks and increase productivity within supply chain operations
  • Support daily operations in procurement, warehousing, logistics, and fulfilment to ensure smooth supply chain execution
  • Monitor operational KPIs and implement corrective actions to maintain high performance standards
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to resolve operational challenges promptly
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize operational workflows
  • Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), process improvements, and quality standards to enhance operational efficiency

Required competencies and certifications

  • Degree in Supply Chain, IT, Engineering, Business, or related fields
  • 4-7 years of experience in supply chain systems, operations, or hybrid roles
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/WMS/TMS platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar
  • Strong understanding of procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics workflows
  • Experience in system implementation, process mapping, and automation
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work effectively at both systems and on-the-ground operational levels

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience with API integrations or middleware
  • Knowledge of data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL
  • Experience in fast-moving, multi-location operations
  • Ability to manage dual-role responsibilities with resilience and dedication
