The Supply Chain Analyst (Purchasing) is responsible for optimising supply chain operations through data analysis, inventory management, and collaboration with various departments to ensure assurance of supply.

This position reports to the Section Head, Purchasing and is part of the Purchasing Department located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

  • Demand and Supply Coordination Ensure consistent material supply to meet production build plans by applying lean tools and collaborating with Order Fulfilment, Planning, and Production teams to manage dynamic demand changes.
  • Supplier Relationship and Performance Management Work closely with suppliers to maintain safety stock, manage forecasting and obligations, and ensure on-time delivery. Conduct regular performance reviews with Supplier Quality and Sourcing to drive continuous improvement.
  • Inventory Control and Operational Execution Monitor and analyse inventory to prevent stockouts and minimise excess. Execute daily purchasing activities, update management boards, conduct kanban audits, and resolve issues such as blocked invoices and stock-out recovery.
  • Data-Driven Process Improvement Collect and interpret supply chain data to support decision-making. Develop dashboards to track KPIs, identify risks and trends, and implement process optimisation using Danaher Business System (DBS) methodologies and digital tools.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate across departments to align priorities, resolve operational challenges, and support business objectives through effective communication and participation in cross-functional projects.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline
  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management or related discipline with at least 3 years purchasing experience in manufacturing environment
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Candidates with experience in SAP or Kanban system will have added advantage
