Working Location: The incumbent will first work at Cleantech Loop and will move to our office located at Yishun within 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the quality control of silicon photonics chip supply chain (wafer, packaging, packaging materials, etc.), establish and optimize the supplier access, audit, evaluation and classification system, covering the whole life cycle management of suppliers.
- Lead the identification, analysis and solution of supplier quality issues, promote suppliers to implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), track and verify the rectification effect, and reduce supply chain quality risks.
- Cooperate with the purchasing department to conduct on-site supplier audits, focus on verifying the supplier's production process (such as wafer manufacturing, dicing process), quality control system and delivery capacity to ensure compliance with the company's quality standards.
- Formulate and optimize incoming inspection standards for products delivered by suppliers, dock with the IQC department, handle unqualified incoming materials, and promote continuous improvement of suppliers.
- Regularly conduct supplier quality reviews, summarize quality data, form supplier quality reports, and provide basis for procurement decisions and supplier optimization.
- Cooperate with the company's test production line, wafer dicing, chip visual inspection and other stations to ensure that the products provided by suppliers meet the production process and quality requirements.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Microelectronics, Semiconductor, Materials Science or related majors
- Minimum 3 years of SQE work experience in the semiconductor or silicon photonics chip industry. Wafer fab process background is preferred.
- Familiar with the silicon photonics chip related supply chain, understand wafer manufacturing, dicing, packaging, testing and other processes, and master supplier quality control methods and tools (such as 8D, 5Why, SPC, etc.).
- Strong ability in supplier audit, quality problem analysis, communication and coordination, and able to independently promote supplier quality improvement.
- Familiar with quality systems such as ISO9001 and IATF16949
- Proficient in Mandarin and English to be able to communicate independently with overseas suppliers that are mandarin speaking.
