Supplier Quality Engineer

(Office is in Senoko)

Job Description

  • Manage Supplier Quality - Qualify, audit and onboard suppliers drive SCAR/8D corrective actions and improve supplier quality and process capability.
  • Quality Systems & Audits - Maintain ISO 9001 processes and conduct internal, supplier process and product audits.
  • Part & Process Quality - Review FAI/PPAP submissions, develop inspection/control plans and support inspection activities for critical components.
  • Supplier Performance Improvement - Track supplier quality metrics, lead scorecard reviews and drive improvement plans for high-risk suppliers.
  • Cross-functional & NPI Support - Work with Engineering, Supply Chain and Production teams to resolve quality issues and support new product introduction.

Job Requirements

  • Engineering Background - Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent, with 3-5+ years manufacturing/SQE experience.
  • Supplier Quality Expertise - Hands-on experience with supplier qualification, audits, SCAR, 8D, RCA, SPC, FMEA and supplier performance management.
  • Machining Knowledge - Strong understanding of CNC machining, turning, milling, fabrication and surface treatments experience with precision components preferred.
  • Quality & Technical Skills - Knowledge of ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP/FAI, GD&T and engineering drawings Quality Auditor certification preferred.
  • Problem-solving & Communication - Data-driven, hands-on and able to work independently with suppliers and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment willing to travel when required.
