About the Role
You will be the key link between the site, suppliers, and quality teams-ensuring purchased parts meet aerospace quality standards. This role involves problem-solving, supplier engagement, and supporting quality improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend site meetings, Gemba walks, and daily standups to support supplier quality issues.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely completion of corrective actions.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance metrics.
- Review and present quality status and recovery plans to the leadership team.
- Support urgent quality issues and non-conforming purchased materials.
- Raise supplier concerns to the DQR Management Team when needed for risk mitigation.
- Review suspect materials with the clinic team and ensure proper containment actions.
- Lead investigations for supplier-related quality issues.
- Support RTV/RMA processes with Procurement.
- Perform assigned QN investigations (V1/V2).
- Review and approve corrective actions from suppliers to ensure robust solutions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (CORE).
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace preferred).
- Knowledge of AS9100, Quality Management Systems, and quality tools.
- Experience with CMM or NDT is an advantage.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to prepare and generate quality reports.
