Supplier Quality Engineer | 5 Days | MNC | Automotive Industry - NY7

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier quality assessments and manage quality risks during new supplier onboarding.

• Evaluate supplier capabilities and collaborate with the procurement team on supplier development and planning.

• Lead new part qualification activities (PPAP) and ensure timely project completion.

• Provide technical quality support and coach suppliers to improve quality performance.

• Investigate supplier quality issues, implement corrective actions, and conduct training to enhance supplier quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in the automotive industry.

• Experience in Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) or structural component process engineering is required.

• Familiar with supplier quality management, PPAP, quality systems, and root cause analysis.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
