Key Responsibilities
Supplier/Manufacturers Coordination & Management
- Build and maintain day-to-day relationships with specialty gas and chemical suppliers / manufacturers, particularly for ultra-high purity (UHP) semiconductor-grade specialty gases and chemicals.
- Assist in reviewing costing, pricing, supply agreements, and contracts to ensure competitiveness and security of supply.
- Support suppliers /manufacturers qualification, performance monitoring, and corrective action follow-ups.
- Coordinate with suppliers /manufacturers and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery and proper inventory management.
Product & Portfolio Support
- Support the product lifecycle process including new product introduction, fab qualification, and documentation management.
- Track and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements in the semiconductor industry.
- Provide technical and commercial product information (data sheets, SDS, certificates, compliance documents) to internal teams and salesperson.
- Work with the sales team to provide quotations, proposals, and technical clarifications through due diligence with suppliers /manufacturers.
Business Development & Customer Support
- Assist in identifying new opportunities and applications for specialty gases and chemicals in semiconductor processes (etching, deposition, lithography, cleaning, CMP, etc.).
- Participate in customer meetings, audits, and qualification projects, representing the product portfolio.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and market intelligence updates for management and sales.
- Support the achievement of business targets by ensuring competitive product availability and positioning through strategic partnership with suppliers/manufacturers.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
- 2 years of experience in specialty gases, chemicals, or semiconductor-related industries (supplier management, product management, technical sales, or supply chain).
- Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and related gas/chemical applications is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Good communication skills on interact with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
