Job Description

Core responsibilities

  • Staff Management: Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate the performance of retail staff to ensure high-quality customer service and help them achieve sales goals.
  • Store Operations: Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, scheduling, and ensuring store cleanliness, safety, and visual merchandising standards are met.
  • Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, and resolve issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels, oversee stock replenishment, and ensure merchandise is displayed, priced, and stocked correctly.
  • Sales and Performance: Monitor sales performance, implement sales strategies, and prepare reports on store metrics and staff productivity.

Key skills and qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a retail supervisor or similar role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in retail operations, customer service best practices, and inventory management.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and create reports.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
