We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations of a fast-paced restaurant located in Singapore's Central Area. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to manage high-volume service while maintaining strict standards of food safety, service quality, and operational efficiency.
This role requires a proactive individual who is able to work independently under pressure, manage diverse teams, and ensure smooth restaurant operations during peak service hours.
Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service flow and customer satisfaction.
Lead and manage front-of-house staff during high-volume service periods.
Monitor service standards and ensure all staff adhere to company SOPs and hospitality standards.
Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance to ensure consistent service quality.
Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
Ensure strict compliance with Singapore food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and workplace safety requirements.
Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with kitchen and procurement teams, and ensure adequate stock levels.
Prepare shift schedules and manage manpower deployment to support operational demands.
Ensure operational readiness during peak hours, weekends, and public holidays.
Maintain accurate daily reports including sales, staff attendance, and operational issues.
Work closely with management to improve service quality, operational efficiency, and cost control.
Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related discipline preferred.
Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in restaurant or F&B operations, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
Proven experience managing operations in high-volume dining environments.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Ability to handle operational pressure during peak dining periods.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills to manage staff and customer interactions effectively.
Good knowledge of food hygiene practices and food safety regulations in Singapore.
Able to work shift hours, weekends, and public holidays as required by restaurant operations.
Physically able to stand for extended periods and actively support floor operations.
Experience in training and coaching junior service staff.
Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management, and daily operational reporting.
Ability to manage multicultural teams in a fast-paced service environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining service excellence.
