Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen activities and food preparation
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared according to company standards and recipes
  • Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Train, guide, and motivate junior kitchen staff
  • Assist in staff scheduling and manpower planning
  • Manage inventory, stock ordering, and stock rotation (FIFO)
  • Reduce food wastage and control kitchen costs
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment
  • Handle customer feedback related to food quality when required
  • Support Head Chef or Management in daily operations


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Cook, Kitchen Supervisor, or similar role
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
