Maintain and Adjust the Condition of Assets
1. Comply with relevant authorisation procedures, safe working practices and specific instructions.
2. Operating requirements are obtained and are available for reference.
3. Ensure any assets which have been maintained or had parameters adjusted still comply with specified operating requirements with minimum disruption andwith the specified methods, tools and materials.
Monitor and Assess the Performance and Condition of Assets
1. Obtain information or parameters from reliable sources using specified methods (Inspection ports, connections, vendor documentary information, instrument readings, diagnostic equipment).
2. Conduct monitoring in line with specified timescales and schedules.
3. Set up and use condition monitoring equipment correctly.
Diagnose Faults
1. Respond promptly to problems in line with approved procedures.
2. Select appropriate tests and diagnostic procedures and apply them methodically.
3. Use the results of inspections to determine the appropriate actions to take.
Monitor and Maintain Pollution Control Measures
1. Sample and check that the controlled process discharges from the area of responsibility to the environment are within prescribed limits.
2. Equipment, waste or other materials for disposal are dealt with according to the correct procedure.
3. Record an accurate and full description in the appropriate document history.
Manage and Supervise Effectively
1. Establish effective relationships with colleagues and subcontractors.
2. Resources such as PPE materials, tools and spares are not wasted or used inefficiently.
3. Ensure that unplanned discharges are identified, halted where possible, and reported according to policy, procedure and regulation.
Emergency Response
1. Demonstrate competence in Emergency Response drills and exercises.
2. Carry out the Emergency Response role (See Station Bill).
Requirements
1. Willing to undertake both onshore and offshore assignments as required.
2. Able to complete assigned rotations or projects fully and remain for the entire assignment period.
3. Minimum 3 years of experience in onshore and/or offshore roles within the oil & gas industry.
4. Hands-on experience in maintenance and operations activities.
5. Physically fit to work in onshore and offshore environments.
