Job Description

  • Oversee daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness and organization of all areas.
  • Assign duties and inspect completed work for quality and adherence to standards.
  • Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and company standards.
  • Provide guidance, feedback, and support to team members for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Ensure that cleaning, hygiene, and appearance standards are consistently maintained.
  • Prepare daily and weekly work schedules for housekeeping staff.
  • Coordinate with front desk, maintenance, and other departments to prioritize tasks and handle special requests.
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
  • Request stock replenishments and ensure proper storage and usage of supplies.
  • Ensure all housekeeping staff follow health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
  • Report and address any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
  • Respond to and resolve guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain records such as cleaning checklists, staff attendance, and inspection reports.
  • Submit performance feedback and assist in employee evaluations.
