Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and experienced Supervisor to oversee daily operations, manage workers, and ensure tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily work activities of workers and staff to meet project plans, specifications, and deadlines
- Monitor employee performance and provide guidance and support to improve productivity and quality
- Maintain discipline, safety, and productivity on site by enforcing workplace safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct daily briefings and assign tasks to workers to ensure clear communication and task completion
- Inspect work quality to ensure standards are met and report progress, issues, and delays to management
- Handle worker attendance, leave, and basic administrative duties to support workforce management
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other departments to align operations and resolve issues
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma, ITI, or relevant qualification as minimum educational requirement
- Proven experience as a Supervisor in construction, manpower, or operations environments
- Strong leadership and team management skills demonstrated through managing daily work activities and employee performance
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate coordination and reporting
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure in dynamic operational settings
- Basic knowledge of safety regulations and procedures to ensure compliance and safe work environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as required by operational demands
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in construction or site supervision to enhance operational oversight
- Knowledge of basic reporting and documentation to support progress tracking and communication
- Familiarity with workplace safety standards such as PPE use and risk assessment to strengthen safety management
