Supervisor / General Foreman (Mechanical & Electrical)

Job Description

We are a leadingconstruction firm in Singapore looking for a dedicated and experienced M&E Supervisor / General Foreman to join ourproject team. You will be responsible for overseeing the installation,coordination, and progress of all Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) workson-site, ensuring they meet project specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

. SiteSupervision: Supervise andcoordinate M&E sub-contractors and workers to ensure works are carried outaccording to approved drawings and specifications.

. ProjectProgress: Monitor site progressagainst the master schedule and proactively resolve any technical orsite-related issues to prevent delays.

. QualityControl: Conduct regularinspections to ensure high-quality workmanship and compliance with localauthorities requirements (e.g., BCA, PUB, NEA, EMA).

. SafetyLeadership: Enforce WorkplaceSafety and Health (WSH) regulations on-site ensure all workers adhere tosafety protocols and conduct Toolbox Meetings.

. Coordination: Liaise with the Project Manager, Consultants,and Clients to ensure smooth execution and integration of M&E services withstructural and architectural works.

. MaterialManagement: Manage therequisition and delivery of M&E materials and equipment to ensure efficientusage and minimize wastage.

. Documentation: Maintain daily site reports, progress photos,and assist in the preparation of As-Built drawings and O&Mmanuals.

Job Requirements

. Education: Diploma or Nitec in Mechanical/ElectricalEngineering, Building Services, or a related field.

. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience inthe Singapore construction industry (M&E works).

. TechnicalSkills: . Proficient inreading and interpreting M&E technical drawings and blueprints.

o Knowledge of local building codes and M&Eregulations (CP5, SS555, etc.).

o Basic knowledge of BIM/AutoCAD is anadvantage.

. Certifications: Possess valid Building ConstructionSupervisors Safety Course (BCSS) or Safety Instruction Course (SIC).

. SoftSkills: Strong leadership,communication, and problem-solving skills.

. Attributes: Willingness to work on-site and ability tomanage tight deadlines under pressure.
