Job Summary
The Electrical Supervisor leads and coordinates electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities to ensure timely project delivery within budget while maintaining strict compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily electrical work activities on-site to ensure efficient project execution
- Enforce compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards to maintain a safe working environment
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to electricians and technicians to enhance team performance and skill development
- Inspect and test electrical systems to verify proper installation, functionality, and adherence to quality standards
- Manage work schedules, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to identify and resolve technical issues promptly
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation on work progress, safety compliance, and project outcomes
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) certification preferred
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in electrical installation and supervision
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively
