Supervisor and General Foreman (M&E)

Core Job Description & Responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Coordination: Direct daily M&E activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure work aligns with project schedules.
• Technical Compliance: Read, interpret, and implement M&E drawings and specifications to ensure installations meet quality standards.
• Safety Enforcement: Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, conduct risk assessments, and maintain safe work methods.
• Resource Management: Manage materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring adequate resources for site productivity.
• Inspection & Reporting: Conduct inspections of workmanship, oversee testing/commissioning, and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Problem Solving: Resolve technical clashes on-site and troubleshoot issues related to equipment, workers, or materials
• Key Requirements

• Experience: Typically 10+ years in construction, specifically within M&E sub-contracting or general construction.

• Certifications: Often require a Building Construction Supervisor Safety (BCSS) certificate, and certifications in WSH or working at heights.
• Skills: Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, managing teams, and communicating with clients/consultants.
• Education: A diploma or relevant training in Electrical/Mechanical engineering is often preferred but not always required depending on experience
