Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate daily M&E site activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and schedules. Lead teams, manage resources, enforce safety, and report progress to deliver successful building projects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily M&E site activities including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire protection to ensure quality and compliance
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades on-site to maintain workflow and resolve issues
- Verify that work follows technical drawings, specifications, and project schedules to meet quality standards
- Lead and manage technicians, foremen, and workers to achieve project milestones and maintain team productivity
- Monitor site progress and prepare daily and weekly status reports for management to support informed decision-making
- Ensure availability of materials, tools, and equipment to prevent delays and maintain continuous work flow
- Assist in planning and sequencing M&E work to optimize resource allocation and project timelines
- Oversee proper testing and commissioning of M&E systems to guarantee operational readiness and compliance
- Enforce site safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5-10 years of experience in M&E construction
- Proven experience as Supervisor or Foreman in building projects
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
