Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Main Supervisor to lead and coordinate Mechanical & Electrical site works, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of electrical, plumbing, sanitary, and drainage construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site activities to ensure completion according to approved drawings, method statements, and project schedules
- Coordinate and manage workers, technicians, and subcontractors to optimize manpower and material usage
- Monitor work progress and adjust manpower arrangements to meet project timelines
- Conduct site inspections to verify work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to project requirements
- Collaborate effectively with clients, main contractors, consultants, and site teams to facilitate smooth project execution
- Identify and resolve site issues promptly, arranging rectification works as necessary
- Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) rules and company safety procedures among all workers
- Assist in testing, commissioning, project handover, and preparation of as-built drawings
Required competencies and certifications
- Experience supervising M&E construction sites involving electrical, plumbing, sanitary, drainage, and building services works
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings to coordinate site activities
- Knowledge of Singapore construction site safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage workers and control site progress
- Capability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure
