Job Description

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic team as a Superintendent of Railway Operations, where you'll oversee essential daily operations and safety measures at a state-of-the-art testing facility. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the management of railway operations and ensure seamless track access.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations and uphold safety standards at the railway testing facility. Oversee the track access system and communicate weekly notices related to restricted area access. Coordinate track access requests while supervising site operations and conducting audits. Review documents and submit method statements and reports as assigned by the management. Demonstrate flexibility for potential international assignments. Lead teams or contractors in maintenance works related to building services, structures, and core railway systems such as signalling and communications.

Requirements

  • Minimum tertiary certification in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the railway industry is required. Experience in railway operations, train testing, and commissioning is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for report generation and presentations. Self-motivated individual eager to learn new skills and willing to be cross-trained. Possession of a relevant Class 3 or 4 local driving license is advantageous.
