Client: Leading Insurance Organization
We are seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert (Business Processes & Systems) to support business transformation, process improvement, and system enhancement initiatives within a leading insurance organization in Singapore.
The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Business, Product, and Technology teams to drive operational efficiency, enhance customer experience, support new product implementation, and ensure successful delivery of business and system changes.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in Insurance Operations, Business Analysis, Process Transformation, System Enhancements, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Minimum 5 years of experience within the Life Insurance industry
Hands-on experience in at least one of the following Life Insurance functions:
Experience working as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), Business Analyst, Business Excellence Analyst, Process Analyst, or Transformation Analyst within a Life Insurance environment
Strong understanding of Life Insurance products, policy lifecycle, business processes, and operational workflows
Proven experience in Requirement Gathering, Business Analysis, and Stakeholder Management
Hands-on experience in System Enhancements, Change Requests, Digital Transformation, or Process Improvement initiatives
Strong experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including:
Experience performing Impact Analysis for business process changes, system enhancements, and new product launches
Experience working closely with Business Users, Operations Teams, IT Teams, Developers, and Vendors
Strong understanding of regulatory, compliance, audit, and risk control requirements within the Life Insurance industry
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Experience with Life Insurance core systems / Policy Administration Systems (PAS)
Experience supporting New Product Launches within Life Insurance
Experience in customer journey mapping, process mapping, and workflow design
Agile / Scrum project delivery experience

• Drive business transformation, change management, and process improvement initiatives
• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from stakeholders
• Identify process and system gaps and recommend enhancement opportunities
• Design and map end-to-end customer journeys and business processes
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Operations teams
• Support new product implementation and system enhancement initiatives
• Conduct impact assessments for business and system changes
• Prepare and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenarios, defect management, validation, and sign-off support
• Support production issue investigations and coordinate with IT teams on solutions
• Prepare operational documentation, process guides, and training materials
• Ensure compliance with audit, risk, and regulatory requirements
• Support Agile project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives
