Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1) Programme Management & Follow-up

a) Track student attendancefor corrective programmes, issue timely reminders and follow-up on cases ofnon-compliance

b) Coordinate sessionrescheduling and maintain communication with parents regarding student progress

2) Campus Supervision & Student Engagement

Conduct regular patrols during recess and lunch periods in classroom blocks and commonareas to monitor student behaviour, address inappropriate conduct, and ensureno mobile phone usage.

b) Proactively interact andengage with students to deter misconduct and guide positive behaviour

3) Incident Response & Student Interaction

a) Serve as part of theimmediate response team for emerging student behavioural incidents to stabilizethe situation through effective communication and intervention techniques

b) Identify and engage withstudents involved in incidents to steer them towards positive behaviour

c) Liaise with Discipline Masters, Year Heads, and other school personnel for case handovers with initialfact-finding, and draft reports.

4) Corrective ProgrammeSupervision

a) Oversee the programme toensure task completion and maintain appropriate conduct

b) Engage with students duringsupervision to reinforce positive behavioural expectations.

Support out-of-school patrol duties alongsidesenior staff members.

The Personnel should have at least the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Minimum GCE O Level or equivalent qualification
  • ONE year of previous experience in student supervision, social work, or related field.

The Personnel shouldpossess the following personal attributes:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage effectively with adolescents.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations.
  • Comfortable with using technology including body cameras and documentation systems.
  • Ability to build rapport with students whilst maintaining authority.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and parents.
  • Commitment to student welfare and positive behavioural change.

Proactive approach to preventing misconductthrough positive engagement

Personnel to bedeployed at the following hours:

. Mondaysto Thursdays: 7:30am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

. Fridays:7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

. Servicenot required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
