Position: Student Care Teacher Assistant (Part-Time)
Work Location: Bukit Timah Plaza / Thomson Plaza / Parkway Centre
Work Days:
- Monday to Friday
- During the school term, staff will be assigned 4 to 6-hour afternoon shifts, scheduled between 12.30pm and 6.45pm, subject to operational requirements.
- During school holidays: shifts between 7am-7pm
- Able to commit a minimum of 3 days per week for at least 6 months
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise students with their daily routines, including meal time, homework supervision, academic learning and recreational activities
- Provide care, guidance and support to primary school children outside of their school hours
- Assist the main teacher with classroom management
- Assist in organising and delivery of holistic programmes (both indoor and outdoor)
- Create a safe, nurturing and positive learning environment for students
- Fetch the students from school
- Accompany children home on the school bus after school
- Assist in other adhoc duties as required
Job Requirements:
- Minimum GCE A level/Diploma in any discipline
- Undergraduates are welcome to apply
- Strong proficiency in spoken and written English
- Able to coach primary school subjects adequately
- Strong communication skills
- Genuine interest towards guiding and nurturing children
- Prior experience in student care and/or enrichment setting would be advantageous
