Job Description:
- Manage care routine for primary school children
- Plan and assist with field trips, excursions or visits
- Provide a positive, nurturing, safe & secure learning environment for students
- Inform supervisor of any noteworthy incidents that occur while the students are under your supervision
- Lead, mentor, and support a small team of teachers and teaching assistants, ensuring that they are aligned with the center's goals and educational standards.
- Provide constructive feedback and professional development opportunities to improve team performance and teaching effectiveness.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss classroom progress, share best practices, and address any challenges.
- Monitor the implementation of lesson plans, classroom activities, and adherence to the educational framework.
- Manage the distribution of classroom duties, ensuring fair and efficient workload balance among team members.
- Ensure compliance with educational policies and procedures, promoting consistency in teaching practices.
- Establish and maintain open and respectful lines of communication with parents regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, and achievements.
- Organize regular parent-teacher (tele) meetings to discuss student development, address any concerns, and set educational goals.
- Provide timely updates to parents on any significant changes in their child's academic or social progress.
- Be approachable and responsive to parents inquiries, offering support and guidance where needed.
- Act as a liaison between parents and staff, ensuring that both parties are well-informed and involved in the student's educational journey.
- Perform other related duties as required
- Able to commit 5 days a week, Mon-Fri
- Applicants with Diploma & above are an advantage.
- Energetic, enthusiastic character with passion in the education environment
- Enjoy communicating with students.
- Good nterpersonal skills
- Student care centre experience preferred
- Positive work attitude & full of initiatives
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
Working Hours & Days:
Monday to Friday,
12.30pm - 8.00pm (School Term)
8am - 4.30pm or 12.30pm-8pm (School Holidays)
Salary: $2,000 - $3,000
Only Full time position available.
