Key Responsibilities
Structural Design & Review
- Review and approve structural drawings, calculations, and specifications
- Ensure designs are compliant with local building codes, standards, and project requirements
- Identify and resolve design issues, structural conflicts, and constructability challenges
Project Coordination & Management
- Coordinate structural works with architectural, MEP, and other disciplines
- Plan and monitor structural construction sequences, schedules, and resource allocation
- Provide technical guidance and support to site teams and subcontractors
Quality & Compliance
- Implement quality control procedures for structural works
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and standards
- Conduct inspections and site audits to verify workmanship and adherence to design
Team Leadership & Support
- Lead and mentor structural engineers, coordinators, and site personnel
- Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, and coordination sessions
- Support value engineering, risk assessment, and problem-solving initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field
- 8-15 years of relevant experience in construction projects
- Proven experience managing structural design and construction teams
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, steel, and composite structures
