Review and interpret structural drawings, specifications (including SS EN, BCA Codes) and overall project requirements.
Coordinate structural design aspects with Architectural, M&E, and C&S consultants to prevent design clashes.
Prepare or review structural calculations, method statements, temporary works designs, rebar schedules, and shop drawings.
Ensure all structural works comply with BCA, URA, PUB, LTA, NEA, and SCDF regulatory requirements.
Conduct structural inspections, including Rebar, Formwork, Concreting, and Structural TOP inspections.
Work closely with Resident Engineers (RE) and Resident Technical Officers (RTO) to ensure that site works comply with approved drawings and specifications.
Perform technical evaluations and propose engineering solutions to address site constraints or unforeseen conditions.
Monitor progress of structural works to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion of the project.
Provide technical support and liaise with Qualified Persons (QP(S)), consultants, and relevant authorities as required.
Requirements
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in structural engineering or construction projects.
Strong knowledge of SS EN, BCA Codes, Eurocode 2 and Eurocode 3.
Familiar with BCA submission processes and coordination with regulatory authorities (URA, PUB, LTA, NEA, SCDF).
Ability to liaise effectively with QP(S), RE, RTO, and Authorities.
Proficient in AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or equivalent structural analysis/design software.
