Job Designation: Structural Design Manager (Underground MRT Station)

Job Description & Requirements:

We are a leading Korean MNC construction company seeking an experienced Structural Design Manager to oversee underground MRT station structural design management for our Singapore projects.

The job responsibilities include:

. Lead and manage structural design and shop drawing processes for underground MRT structures.

. Liaise with the coordination team (Architecture and MEP) on SEM drawings for structural work and ensure their proper incorporation into the shop drawings.

. Review and manage civil and structural design deliverables to ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements.

. Coordinate with construction teams and subcontractors to ensure accurate translation of design intent into drawings and site execution.

. Provide technical support for site-related structural design issues, including reinforced concrete and steel structural works.

. Manage and coordinate with design consultants and engineer for civil and structural design

. Liaise and coordinate with design consultants, engineers, accredited checkers (AC), and QPS for design calculation and drawing reviews/approvals.

. Communicate with clients and authorities on project-related design matters, submissions, and compliance requirements.

. Ensure the technical integrity, consistency, and constructability of all structural designs.

The job requirements are as follows:

. Senior Structural Engineer with 10+ years of experience in structural design and coordination for MRT projects, including at least 7 years in Design & Build (D&B) projects (preferably underground MRT).

. Strong knowledge of engineering software and good familiarity with Eurocodes, Singapore Codes of Practice, and LTA requirements.

. Experience coordinating architectural and M&E design for underground MRT works ability to review CCSM models and SEM-related drawings for underground structural shop drawing management.

. Proven experience managing subcontractors in the production and quality control of shop drawings.
