Structural Design Engineer

Job Description

• Review structural and civil engineering plans, drawings, and calculations in accordance with project specifications, standards, and codes of practice
• Coordinate and liaise with architects, consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of works
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and workplace safety requirements
• Ensures the designs and models developed are in accordance with project requirements
• Involved in tendering processes to ensure continuous performance improvement
• Work with C&S consultants to develop structural schemes and perform engineering analysis to assess stability and load-bearing capacity
• Prepare technical submissions, project quality plans, and submit designs to authorities for approval
• Any other duties assigned by superior

Job Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in civil and structural engineering, preferably in the construction industry
• Experience in high-rise commercial building / mixed development/ semiconductor factory / healthcare building project is preferred
• Familiar with relevant local codes, regulations, and authority submission requirements.
• Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD
