Project Coordination & Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for coordinating structural and architectural works between clients, consultants (architects, M&E, PE), suppliers, and various subcontractor teams
Technical Documentation & Submissions: Review, prepare, and submit shop drawings, material specifications, Method Statements (MOS), and Requests for Information (RFIs). Identify and resolve discrepancies in drawings and specifications
Quality & Compliance Management: Conduct site inspections (pre-inspections and progress inspections) to ensure all work strictly adheres to approved drawings, project specifications, statutory regulations (e.g., BCA, accessibility codes), and quality control measures. Assist in CONQUAS assessments
Schedule & Progress Monitoring: Plan and prepare detailed work schedules (including micro-schedules), monitor site progress, and provide timely updates to stakeholders. Ensure projects meet critical deadlines
Subcontractor Management: Manage and supervise subcontractors to ensure their scope of work, quality, and safety performance meet project requirements
Design Coordination: Coordinate architectural and structural designs, particularly for finishes, metalworks, and complex interfaces. Ensure designs are workable on-site and critical dimensions are highlighted
Material & Cost Control: Oversee material submissions for approval, monitor material testing, control wastage, and support cost management through variation order (VO) assessments and negotiations
Safety & Environmental Compliance: Ensure all site activities are conducted in a safe working environment and comply with safety and environmental management systems
Administrative Duties: Maintain meticulous project records, including daily diaries, submission logs, manpower records, and progress reports. Attend and contribute to client, consultant, and subcontractor meetings
