As a Strategy and Planning Lead, you will be responsible for defining, landing and executing on our key strategic priorities to drive operational excellence, business growth, and productivity. You will also be responsible for helping with planning, goal setting, territory design, expansion plans and managing the rhythm of the business activities. You will provide business insights, ensure cross-functional alignment, drive strategic partnerships, and execute new initiatives. You will align company priorities with day-to-day operations and evolve early-stage ideas into future growth initiatives
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of the South East Asia (SEA) GTM strategy through key pillars across the annual planning process, including customer segmentation, territory design and quota cascade, to ensure alignment between the SEA and global GTM strategy.
- Execute on key operational processes related to the implementation of SEA's GTM strategy through annual planning and in-year processes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the SEA Sales and Operations team and sales leadership by structuring, analyzing, and communicating business issues and delivering actionable insights that directly influence key growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional organizations within Google Cloud to drive alignment on the execution and achievement of key business goals and continuously update the overall strategy for Google Cloud in SEA.
- Identify and implement best practices to standardize key planning processes and GTM workstreams across APAC and Global teams.
