Role Overview:

We're looking for a sharp, proactive, and detail-oriented Strategic Sourcing Executive to join our high-performing team. You will be a key player in optimising sourcing and procurement processes, enforcing compliance, and leading cost-saving initiatives across one of Southeast Asia's largest e-commerce logistics networks.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing and Negotiation: Drive SPX cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing and continuous process improvement.Conduct tenders and procurement exercises based on operational requirements, ensuring optimal vendor selection and commercial terms.Analyze market trends and pricing data to identify opportunities for cost optimization and service enhancement

Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Main contact point for fleet agency partners, managing performance and ensuring service reliability. Evaluate and recommend vendors based on cost efficiency, quality and operational fit

Project management: Lead end-to-end projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, delivery capacity, and service performance. Collaborate closely with Operations and other cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives. Track and report project milestones, ensuring timely execution and measurable outcomes

Policy & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal procurement policies and SOPs. Monitor and enforce compliance with MOM regulations and relevant government guidelines

Contract Management: Evaluate and negotiate contract terms with vendors. Provide necessary information for contract drafting and coordinate with the Legal team for contract preparation

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with teams across Operations, Finance, Legal and Regional teams. Present regular updates and insights to senior management in clear, concise reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or other relevant fields
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical thinking.
  • Internship or working experience in relevant fields such as Procurement, Accounting, Supply Chain Operations
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and cross-functional environments
