What you will do

Territory Management and Revenue Generation

. Develop and drive sales strategies, discuss account trends, advise on changes and coordinate quotes and sales opportunities with regional account management, customer success and service managers on a regular basis.

. Provide specialist subject matter expertise on Vonage API suite to account management, clients and prospective clients in the Asia Pacific region.

. Develop and present bespoke technical and commercial propositions, with a primary focus on the Messaging API suite, in collaboration with regional account managers and sales engineering.

. Analyze the regional account base to determine key areas of opportunity.

. Develop and execute business development plans to drive revenue and profitability.

. Cultivate strategic partnerships within the regional tech ecosystem-including Communication Service Providers (CSP), software vendors, GSI's and digital marketing agencies-to expand market reach.

Team Collaboration

. Collaborate - acting as a mentor - across sales organizations to ensure timely and accurate quote provision and order processing.

. Work with global engineering and technical teams on project scope, managing and reconciling demands across diverse functional teams to achieve desired results for the benefit of the client.

. Collaborate with carrier relations team to optimize market reach, profitability and regulatory compliance.

. Support implementation through ongoing and supportive customer contact, ensuring a smooth transition to customer success management post-implementation.

What you will bring

. Promote a solution oriented sales approach over the full delivery lifecycle, driving company growth by consistently growing and maintaining a healthy new business pipeline that will meet and aggressively exceed targets.

. Work closely with the regional management team to aid in launching innovative CPaaS solutions for prospects looking to migrate their Communication Infrastructure into the Cloud, integrating APIs into their customer experience flows.

. Driving new market entry strategy for new products and territories within the APAC region by developing detailed business cases for consideration by the management team.

. Contributing to and building the regional go-to-market plan, with clear focus on quick execution.

. Accurate and timely forecasting, acting as a business leader to build a solid, predictable and recurring revenue.

What is required of you

. 15+ years of commercial experience selling to large Multinational Enterprise companies
and/or telecom carriers. Prior experience in business development, product marketing,
strategic alliances and/or channel management for a CSP or telecom solutions provider.

. Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or Engineering, complemented by an MBA from a top-tier
institution.

. Extensive knowledge of telecom networks, system integration/API's and International
Messaging (SMS, WABA etc) products and solutions.

. Demonstrated success in driving market entry for telecom services & solutions across key Asia Pacific markets including but not limited to Indonesia, India, Japan and Australia. Experience of Middle East/GCC would be beneficial but not mandatory

. Experience building solid relationships with mid-level and senior executives across
business, marketing and technology teams.

. Previous experience as a Management Consultant in TMT or Network / Data Intelligence would be highly regarded.

. A self starter attitude, creativity and curiosity with the focus and openness it takes to
work both independently and collaboratively across the business
