Job Description

Role Overview

The Strategic Project Manager plays a key role in supporting senior management in the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic initiatives across the Group.

This position serves as a central coordination hub for cross-departmental projects, ensuring that major corporate and operational initiatives are executed efficiently, within timeline, and aligned with the Group's strategic objectives.

The role involves overseeing project timelines, consolidating operational and financial information, coordinating stakeholders, and supporting corporate exercises including potential IPO preparation and property development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Project Coordination

  • Lead and coordinate strategic initiatives across multiple departments including Development, Finance, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Monitor project milestones, timelines, and deliverables to ensure projects are progressing according to the approved plan.
  • Proactively identify potential risks, delays, or bottlenecks and escalate issues to senior management together with recommended solutions.
  • Ensure clear communication and alignment among internal teams and external stakeholders throughout project execution.

2. Cross-Department Information Management

  • Collect operational, financial, and project data from internal departments and external consultants.
  • Consolidate information into structured reports and presentations for senior management review.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data used for strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain organised documentation of project records and corporate information.

3. Development Project Oversight

  • Monitor the progress of property development projects across key stages including design, regulatory approvals, construction milestones, and sales activities.
  • Coordinate closely with project consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project schedules are maintained.
  • Track key project performance indicators including project cost, timeline, delivery milestones, and overall development progress.
  • Provide regular updates to management on project status and emerging issues.

4. Corporate Initiatives & IPO Preparation

  • Support senior management in corporate strategic initiatives including potential capital market exercises and IPO preparation.
  • Coordinate information requests from investment banks, auditors, legal advisers, and professional consultants.
  • Assist in the preparation and compilation of documentation required for due diligence, regulatory submissions, and corporate reporting.
  • Ensure internal teams meet timelines and compliance requirements associated with corporate exercises.

5. Operational Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies or gaps in workflow, communication, and project execution processes.
  • Recommend improvements to operational systems, reporting frameworks, and project coordination structures.
  • Implement process improvements that enhance accountability, transparency, and organisational efficiency.

6. Reporting to Management

  • Prepare structured management reports, project dashboards, and strategic updates for senior leadership.
  • Provide regular progress reports on key projects and corporate initiatives.
  • Support management decision-making through clear analysis, information consolidation, and actionable insights.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in project management, corporate strategy, real estate development, consulting, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong organisational discipline with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
