About the Role
You will play a pivotal role in supporting leadership to drive strategic planning and execution for major hospital initiatives, partnerships, and pre-opening projects. This position focuses on aligning strategic priorities with operational readiness, ensuring cross-functional coordination, and supporting the successful launch and ramp-up of services. The role requires strong project management capabilities, stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to anticipate future healthcare trends and organisational needs.
Responsibilities
- Support leadership in the development and execution of strategic plans for key hospital initiatives, partnerships, and institutional projects.
- Analyse current operational challenges and anticipate future trends in healthcare delivery, patient demographics, and manpower planning to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align leadership priorities with operational plans and execution strategies.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project timelines and key milestones to ensure all departments remain on track for major organisational targets.
- Coordinate cross-departmental master project schedules to support overall hospital readiness and service continuity.
- Assist in pre-opening planning activities, including operational readiness, workflow planning, and continuity of care during the launch phase.
- Support end-to-end planning for opening and ramp-up efforts, ensuring staffing, resource allocation, and key deliverables are achieved.
- Engage and coordinate with vendors, external agencies, and internal teams to ensure alignment with strategic direction and project requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the service or healthcare sector, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Strong experience in strategic planning, project management, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
- Ability to analyse trends, translate insights into actionable plans, and manage multiple workstreams effectively.
- Candidates with extensive experience may be considered for a Senior Manager position.
