The Strategic Partnerships team leads Shopee's efforts in building and scaling high-impact collaborations with key external platforms. From opportunity scoping to go-to-market planning and performance tracking, the team works cross-functionally to integrate external platforms, drive seamless user experiences, and expand traffic sources across Shopee's markets in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Brazil. Data and insights are at the core of our strategy - we closely track traffic metrics, analyse performance, monitor competitive trends, and deliver actionable recommendations to support informed business planning and decision-making.
Job Description
We are looking for a well-rounded individual to join the Regional Brand & Growth Marketing team. In this role, you will own end-to-end strategic partnership initiatives - from identifying and evaluating partnership opportunities, to developing commercial business cases, managing product integrations and driving successful execution across markets.
Working closely with regional and local cross-functional teams, as well as external partners, you will launch and scale strategic partnerships that drive platform growth, while establishing scalable processes and operational best practices.
- Drive end-to-end execution of regional strategic partnership initiatives, from opportunity evaluation through implementation, launch and performance tracking
- Evaluate partnership opportunities through commercial analysis, opportunity sizing and business case development to support prioritisation and decision-making
- Engage and collaborate with external partners to develop, structure and execute strategic partnership initiatives
- Partner with Product teams to define integration requirements, manage development timelines and ensure seamless implementation
- Partner with regional and local market teams to develop go-to-market plans, coordinate launches and drive successful adoption of partnership initiatives
- Coordinate across regional functions, local markets and external stakeholders to drive alignment, manage dependencies and maintain execution momentum
- Monitor partnership performance and key success metrics, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to optimise commercial and operational outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. A master's degree is advantageous but not required.
- Minimum 3 years of full-time experience in in strategy, partnerships, consulting, project management, e-commerce or other high-growth technology environments
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in business case development, opportunity sizing, and data-driven analysis
- Proven experience managing cross-functional initiatives involving business and product stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams and markets.
- Highly organised, self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Experience working across regional or multi-market environments is a plus
- Experience in ads or affiliate marketing is a plus
