Position: Strategic Marketing Director (Semiconductor Industry)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a visionary Strategic Marketing Director to drive our market intelligence and product road map development in alignment with long-term business growth. Reporting to the C-suite, this role will bridge technical innovation with market demands, ensuring our chip solutions stay ahead of industry disruptions and capture emerging opportunities in AI, IoT, automotive, and high-performance computing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Intelligence & Trend Analysis
- Lead primary/secondary research to forecast 5-10 year technology shifts (e.g., AI acceleration, edge computing, advanced packaging).
- Monitor competitive landscapes, geopolitical trends (e.g., regional semiconductor policies), and supply chain dynamics affecting global markets.
- Build predictive models for demand-supply cycles and identify white-space opportunities.
2.Product Portfolio Strategy
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to define chip specifications aligned with unmet market needs.
- Develop pricing/positioning strategies for tiered product launches (e.g., flagship vs. cost-optimized solutions).
- Own life cycle management for existing products, including phase-out planning and legacy support optimization.
3.Business Performance Acceleration
- Drive quarterly/annual revenue targets through go-to-market (GTM) strategy refinement.
- Partner with sales leadership to design incentive programs for high-margin product adoption.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to reduce time-to-market for new chip families.
- Institutionalize agile workflows for rapid response to market disruptions (e.g., US/China export restrictions).
Qualifications Required:
- 15+ years of experience in semiconductor product marketing/strategy, with 5+ years in a director-level role.
- Proven track record of launching 3+ successful chip products (Memory/MCU preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to balance short-term revenue targets with long-term technological bets.
- History of persuading technical stakeholders (e.g., silicon designers) to prioritize market-driven features over purely theoretical innovations.
- Advanced proficiency in market research tools (e.g., Gartner, Tec Insights, Statista).
- Experience navigating matrixed organizations across APAC, EMEA, and AME, with a focus on bridging cultural/communication gaps.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
- Excellent presentation skills including PPT generation for strategy planning
- Preferred educational background in Electrical Engineering + MBA.
