Strategic Finance Manager, Gen AI

Our client is seeking a forward-thinking, high-caliber FP&A Manager to anchor our APAC Headquarters in Singapore. This is a pivotal strategic leadership role designed for a finance professional who bridges the gap between commercial financial acumen and cutting-edge artificial intelligence.

You will serve as a key business partner to regional executives, delivering rapid, data-backed insights that drive market expansion, optimize operational margins, and maximize profitability across APAC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as a trusted financial advisor to the APAC Leadership Team, delivering actionable insights on commercial opportunities, capital allocation, and market-entry initiatives.
• Oversee complex margin analysis, product profitability tracking, and regional pricing strategies to optimize bottom-line performance.
• Develop, test, and deploy predictive AI and machine learning models within existing EPM environments to augment rolling forecasting accuracy and demand planning.
• Utilize Generative AI solutions and advanced workflow automation to auto-generate variance commentaries, draft management narratives, and streamline localized reporting pipelines.
• Incorporate intelligent data structuring and prompt engineering frameworks into daily data queries to rapidly extract deep business intelligence from unstructured financial datasets.
• Lead continuous process improvement initiatives to migrate historical spreadsheet-heavy workflows into automated, AI-powered corporate performance modules.
• Design and manage intelligent executive dashboards (Power BI / Tableau) that integrate operationalmetrics with core financial KPIs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum 8–12 years of progressive FP&A experience
• Demonstrated success in utilizing AI applications for finance workflows. This includes hands-on expertise with Enterprise AI assistants (e.g., Microsoft Copilot for Excel/Power BI, Claude, ChatGPT Enterprise) for data manipulation, formula generation, and financial commentary extraction.
• Deep proficiency in enterprise-grade Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems with native predictive analytics modules (e.g., Anaplan, Workday Adaptive Planning, Oracle Cloud EPM, or SAP BPC).
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data wrangling and financial predictive modeling is strongly preferred. Experience with low-code automation tools (e.g., Alteryx) is a major plus.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a proven track record of distilling highly complex technical and financial data into strategic narratives for executive-level leadership.
