Role Overview
The Strategic Communication Manager is responsible for shaping how our products and engineering capabilities are positioned and communicated to senior leadership, customers, and partners.
This role goes beyond marketing execution. It focuses on translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling business narratives that support growth, differentiation, and decision-making.
The ideal candidate is a strategic storyteller who can connect market insights, product value, and business priorities into high-impact messaging and executive-level communication materials.
Key Responsibilities
Product Positioning & Strategic Storytelling (Core)
- Define and articulate clear value propositions and positioning for products and engineering capabilities
- Translate complex technical and business concepts into simple, compelling, business-focused narratives
- Develop consistent messaging frameworks across products, bids, and strategic communications
Executive Communication & Decision Support
- Develop executive-ready materials (e.g. strategy decks, leadership briefings, pitch decks)
- Support senior leadership in communicating strategy, opportunities, and product value
- Simplify complex topics to enable clear understanding and decision-making at senior levels
Market Insight & Differentiation
- Conduct market, customer, and competitor analysis to identify positioning opportunities
- Translate insights into clear differentiation and messaging strategies
- Support business teams in aligning messaging with market needs and growth priorities
Cross-functional Alignment
- Work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to understand capabilities and priorities
- Ensure consistent, accurate, and credible messaging across internal and external communications
GenAI-enabled Communication
- Leverage Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) for content ideation, rapid prototyping, and storytelling development
- Improve speed, quality, and consistency of communication outputs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field
- Experience in strategic communications, product marketing, consulting, or storytelling roles
- Experience working with technical, engineering, or complex product environments is preferred
- Ability to translate complex/technical concepts into business value narratives
- Strong executive communication skills (clear, concise, structured)
- Ability to connect market insights to messaging and differentiation
- Experience supporting strategy decks, bids, or senior leadership communications
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and business teams
- Familiarity with GenAI tools for communication and content development
