Strategic Commodities & Sourcing Specialist (Semiconductor Industry)

• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities for assigned commodities, focusing on cost, supplier selection, lead time, and capacity alignment

• Conduct cost analysis, benchmarking, and spend evaluations to support cost optimisation and total cost of ownership improvements

• Monitor supplier capacity and ensure alignment with production demand and forecast requirements

• Track and manage supplier performance, including quality, delivery performance, and responsiveness

• Support supplier identification, evaluation, and onboarding to meet technical and operational requirements within a high-tech manufacturing environment

• Work closely with procurement and supply chain stakeholders to ensure sourcing strategies are executable in day-to-day operations

• Maintain accurate sourcing master data (pricing, lead times, supplier information) to support smooth procurement execution

• Act as escalation support for supplier-related issues when required

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related disciplines

• 1-2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or category management is preferred

• Ability to analyse spend data, lead times, and supply risks to identify trends and insights

• Comfortable working with data and generating actionable reports or dashboards

• Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query) is required

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau will be an advantage
